Description
I took a large lumbar cow vertebra and cut off many pieces to carve smaller ones. This is one of the results! I then dyed this piece in a lavender bath and did a moss inlay on the front carving. I cut the shape of this one so you can see what the inside looks like - it looks like a sponge! The necklace measures about 13 inches from the top of the closed clasp to the bottom of the bone piece. The bone piece measures 5.75 X 1.75 cm at its widest parts. The chain is an antique brass color.
